This draconian 60-vote threshold is blocking both the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act in the Senate.
Defending free elections is arguably the most important aspect of democratic governance. We can’t allow the filibuster to block legislation that’s required to preserve our democracy.
