Ladies and gentlemen, it’s retired Major General Paul Eaton here on behalf of VoteVets. In just a moment, I’m going to ask you for a donation to help us in our mission. But first, let me tell you what’s at stake:

There are a large number of right-wing extremists currently serving in the United States Congress. I’m not talking about old-school Republicans like John McCain or President Eisenhower. I’m talking about the new, extreme Republican insurrectionists behind the January 6th attack on our Capitol and our democracy.

It’s this simple: We need to elect better, rational representatives in Congress. We need veterans who took an oath to defend our Constitution and understand the depth of sacrifices people have made for our democracy since this nation’s founding.
