I hope you are enjoying the season!

Whether you lit the Menorah earlier in the month, opened Christmas presents this past weekend, or reflected on the seven principles of Kwanzaa on Sunday, I hope your days are merry and bright.

I’m grateful for the time I’ve been able to spend with family and friends (My father spent all Christmas Eve preparing the traditional Seven Fishes for the entire family. So delicious!), and the opportunity to reflect on what matters most. I’m looking forward to 2022 with a renewed sense of hope even as we work hard in Congress to make progress in this important election year.

Our nation saw more than our fair share of adversity in 2021, but we’ve also proven our resilience. I’m reminded that now more than ever, we are strongest when we stand together for a common purpose.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. Thanks so much for your support this year, and have a very happy New Year! I’m sending my best wishes to all of you and your families.
