This is our last fundraising hurdle before the new year and I’ll be honest — we still have a long way to go before we reach our $50,000 email fundraising goal.

John, the response from folks like you has been amazing since we launched our campaign in mid-August. Your small-dollar donations are the reason we’re still in this race and why we had such a strong record-smashing start to our journey.  

But I’ll be honest, since then, our fundraising has seriously slowed down. We’re finishing our first full fundraising quarter of this campaign, and things aren’t looking good. This has been one of the toughest online fundraising periods in recent memory, for campaigns all across the country, and we really can’t afford to fall short of our $50,000 email fundraising goal. 

I believe in this team, and every time it’s looked like we weren’t going to meet our goal, this team has pulled through. That’s why I wanted to ring in the new year by giving back to you, John. 🎊
