"I mean this: Women will die," Vice President Kamala Harris said. “And it is not an extreme statement—it is a fact,"

The New York Times reports that if ultra-conservative Justices Kavanaugh, Alito, Gorsuch, Coney Barrett, Thomas, and Roberts reverse Roe v. Wade, then “clinics in 22 states” will close, barring “42 percent of American women of childbearing age” from life-saving abortion access.

But if abortion rights champion Val Demings ousts Marco Rubio in Florida's Senate race, Democrats will buck Kavanaugh's Court. Demings will expand their razor-thin 50/50 Senate Majority to break Mitch McConnell's sexist filibuster, and codify Roe v. Wade into federal law, guaranteeing women the right to choose.

In August, Demings trailed Rubio by just two points. But the latest St. Pete poll shows that the blank check Rubio's millionaire donors cut him to crush Demings and end abortion in 2022 is already paying off and Rubio is ahead once again.

We're listening to Vice President Harris. We will do everything we can to protect Val Demings and end the sexist GOP's near-50-year war on women's rights. But we need to send Demings twice as much support as usual, and today we're still $1,200 short of our daily fundraising goal heading into the upcoming FEC filing deadline.
