Dear John -
In 2016, nearly one in five Montanans stopped taking a prescription medication because they could no longer afford it. The cost of prescription drugs has been steadily rising in the U.S. over the past decade - and continues to increase.
Why are these costs so high? Because Big Pharma companies line their pockets with the money from hard working Americans who need these medications to live.
We can’t stand for this any longer. Sign this petition urging Congress to lower the price of prescription medications ASAP >>
Over the course of five years, the cost of prescription drugs increased by 58%, while the average Montanan’s income only increased by 13%. We should not be forced to make the decision between buying a life-saving medication or putting food on the table.
In the Montana House, fighting for accessible and affordable medical care has been my top priority. I will continue this fight as your Congressman. But we need to take action sooner than 2020.
Sign here to tell Congress we will not allow pharmaceutical companies to take advantage of us any longer.
Thank you for your support.
