Right now, LCV is running our biggest grassroots campaign yet to advance the most important climate legislation in history: the Build Back Better Act. We've fought hard to pass it through the House, and negotiations are ongoing to get it through the Senate, with no votes to spare.

The LCV Membership Team ? ? ? ? ? Friend ? as we come to the end of the year, we know we have a chance to achieve incredible things together in 2022:

Cut climate pollution in half.
Fight to double the amount of conserved land by 2030.
Create healthier communities.
And expand clean energy and create good-paying jobs.

It's all possible. But right now ? we urgently need to hear from you to have a shot at pulling it off. As you read this, LCV's policy and organizing teams are pushing for Senate votes on the most important environmental legislation in history ? the Build Back Better Act ? when the Senate returns in the new year.

We must continue the biggest grassroots effort in our history ? and do everything it takes ? until we win those votes.

You can help push the Biden administration to impose the most stringent emission standards possible on heavy-duty vehicles and trucks, reducing pollution so that we can clean up our air, especially in low-wealth and communities of color who suffer the most from breathing dirty air. You can help support a major campaign to designate Avi Kwa Ame, or Spirit Mountain, in Nevada as a National Monument, protecting its sacred Indigenous sites and biodiverse wildlife in the Mojave Desert from development. You can help build the environmental movement at a time when we absolutely need all hands on deck. 2022 is going to be a major election year ? one that will be absolutely critical for the environment. Most importantly, your year-end contribution continues the fight for our environment.
