Dear John,

Amidst the flurry of holiday emails in your inbox, I hope you had a moment to read Andrea’s message from yesterday.

At NIRH, we believe that the roadmap to change winds through the many cities, states, and localities that make up the United States. Our movement gains exponentially from the broad coalition of community leaders, activists, and organizations that work at the local level to ensure their neighbors, and ours, are guaranteed reproductive freedom, health, and justice. When we can’t count on the federal government or the courts, local governments have the opportunity and obligation to step in.

As the Chief Development Officer for NIRH, I am proud to be part of an organization that understands the true meaning of investment. The time, money, and expertise from our talented staff and dedicated network leads to proactive policy that enshrines reproductive rights and access -- from doula care to abortion access and everything in between -- into law. Concrete change is made possible by the support of engaged allies like you.

By investing in NIRH [[link removed]], you invest in a future where every state and city can enact policies and protections that uniquely meet the needs of all their residents -- all guided by a fundamental belief in reproductive and sexual freedom for everyone.

In the final days of 2021, I hope that you will consider making a tax-deductible, year-end donation. [[link removed]] You help us build national change from the ground up.

With gratitude,

Shannon Carey
