Live Constitutional Classes

Our January classes include:

Classes are every Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET (Introductory) and 2 p.m. ET (Advanced) and Friday at 1 p.m. ET (All Levels).
Professional Learning Opportunities

Join us for monthly sessions on various constitutional topics, including
  • January 19 – Slavery in America: From the Founding to America's Second Founding.
  • February 16 – The 14th Amendment and the Battle for Freedom and Equality in America
  • March 16 – First Amendment: Speech and Press 

Each session explores methods for constitutional teaching and pedagogy from experienced practitioners.
Summer Teacher Institutes

In July 2022, the National Constitution Center will host two virtual three-day workshops and two in-person weeklong institutes. All programs are open to educators working with grades 5–12 at public, charter, independent, parochial, and other schools. Applications are available now until Friday, February 25, 2022.
Join Our Teacher Advisory Council

The National Constitution Center's Teacher Advisory Council supports the Center by sharing best practices for teaching constitutional and civic topics—looking at the intersection of U.S. history and current events—and advises the Center on programs and resources that would best support classroom instruction on constitutional fundamentals.

Applications are now available until Monday, January 3, 2022.
