But there is one person who has already made up his mind: Senator David Perdue said there isn’t “a chance in hell” that the Senate would vote to impeach Donald Trump.

If the House votes to impeach the president, David Perdue will serve as a juror in the Senate. Nothing about his recent behavior shows that he can be a fair and nonpartisan participant in Trump’s impeachment trial.
