Friend,

With only a little more than four days left in 2021, I thought I'd add some entertainment to our end-of-year fundraising countdown by revisiting some of Beacon Hill's highlights (lowlights?) from the past year.

Now, let's time-travel back to April of this past year. Why is this time period significant? Because that's when the Democrats running Beacon Hill said the quiet part out loud in defending their stubborn refusal to make committee votes public.

That was the month the Democrats debated transparency procedures...behind closed doors.

State Rep. Sarah Peake (D-None of your business) had this to say about making committee votes public:

“This is a complex process and members need to be free to deal with the complexities of the process without people confusing support or non-support of a vote in committee with a vote here on the floor.”
Remember, the Democrats make it complicated on purpose. The last thing they want is for the public to be aware of what they're doing.

Had enough yet?

I've set a goal to find at least 50 new donors before the end of 2021.

If you haven't yet, can I count on you to chip in?
