Dear brothers and sisters, Minnesota needs the Church to rise up. The culture needs to hear our shepherding voice, not just those who sit in our pews. The Church has been given the Bible, God’s sole and authoritative self-revelation, not only for our salvation but also for lives to blossom and flourish. Those in the halls of power urgently need to hear that Word from us. Our state and nation desperately need to hear our witness that God is NOT silent about the issues plaguing us. And all those who dwell in darkness and brokenness need the Word of grace and truth extended to them with mercy and kindness. That’s what the Church Ambassador Network is about. By building a statewide network of churches and pastors, by meeting with and praying for all of our elected officials, by developing relationships between ministers of the gospel and ministers in government (Romans 13:6), and by providing resources for the Church, we are helping to raise the voice of the Church in the public square and extend Her ministry to those who need it most. There has long been a sense among some churches that political engagement is something churches should avoid at all costs. But as our congregants feel political issues hitting closer to home than ever before, we need to revisit Scripture. In fact, Scripture tells us to engage with our governing authorities in prayer - so that’s what we must do. Please click here to support us if you think what we’re doing is worthwhile. - Finding the Church’s Voice: Write and publish 3-5 gospel-centered “white papers,” concise guides explaining complex issues from a Christian perspective
- Local Focus: Meet with all 20 city council members in Minneapolis and Saint Paul
- Welcome New Legislators: Meet with and pray for all 29 freshman legislators
- Shepherd Key Legislators: Continue and build on relationships with 40 key legislators
- Bring in New Pastors: Recruit 300 new pastors to our cause, bringing the Gospel to our state Capitol
- Get Meetings On the Calendar: Send 603 meeting requests (3 per legislator) by June 2022 (end of 2022 session)
