Believe it or not, I dislike sending these fundraising pleas as much as you dislike reading them, but they are necessary to hit our fundraising goals.

You see, we are just four days away from the election year, and we expect this Congressional race to be one of the most expensive and competitive in the country.

My opponent is a Capitol Insurrectionist who has raised over $1,000,000 and came within a few votes of winning last time he ran for office. So we can’t leave anything to chance, and we can’t slow down now.

I’m running for Congress because I learned at a young age on the farm that when you face tough challenges, you pull together as neighbors to get the job done. Today, too many people in Washington have forgotten that getting things done for us is their job.

But my opponent would rather put partisanship above the people he serves. He’ll vote with his party in mind, not what’s best for you and me.

I’m going to win this race the only way I know how: by going everywhere and talking with everyone. But I won’t kid myself. I know it’s going to be a tough race, so I need your help to build this campaign strong.
