The new year is right around the corner, and we’re ready to hit the ground running – but before we do, I wanted to highlight some of our accomplishments from 2021.

We
passed
the
American
Rescue
Plan.
This
bill
included
the
expanded
Child
Tax
Credit,
which
helped
keep
millions
of
Americans
out
of
poverty,
brought
us
one
step
closer
to
ensuring
universal
healthcare
coverage,
and
supported
our
small
businesses.


*
We
built
a
grassroots
movement
to
support
progressive
New
York
City
leaders
at
the
local,
boroughwide,
and
citywide
level.


*
We
fought
to
extend
the
eviction
and
student
loan
moratoriums
and
advocated
for
comprehensive
housing
and
economic
justice
policies


*
We
organized
the
Congressional
Progressive
Caucus
and
made
it
clear
that
progressive
leaders
are
the
future
–
and
that
we
can’t
be
overlooked.



These achievements are just some examples of what we can do when we work together and invest in our progressive movement.
