That’s how many more contributions we need to reach by midnight on Friday to stay on track to hit our fourth quarter fundraising targets before we submit our final FEC report of the year.
How did we get that number? Based on our average donation of $15.82, it will take 7,075 contributions to close our $111,939 gap by the 31st to meet our $1.25 million goal and finish the quarter strong heading into an election year.
7,075 is an important number to us because each donation – no matter the amount – shows that our values from Medicare for All to the Green New Deal have strong support in Pennsylvania and across the country.
Here’s where we’re at for the quarter:
Alexandria is one of the most heavily targeted members of Congress. Super PACs are spending tens of thousands of dollars attacking Alexandria, and Republicans are sharing violent content about her online – all while she fights to cancel student debt, extend the child tax credit, mobilize our movement to build a just transition that creates millions of good-paying jobs while saving our planet, and so much more.
A strong fourth quarter of the year would help demonstrate how much grassroots support Alexandria has beside her heading into her election in 2022.
