Following up on the message Biz sent yesterday -- I wanted to highlight another 2021 trend that I personally hated: governors supporting gerrymandered maps.
If you also hate this, will you chip in $22 to help stop it from continuing in 2022?

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp -- infamous for both signing an egregious voting restriction bill within hours of it passing and purging voter rolls which may have tipped the scales in his own election -- is about to sign gerrymandered maps into law.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp will join Texas’s Greg Abbott and Ohio’s Mike DeWine in the distinction of doubling down on 2011’s gerrymandering despite having the power to stop it.
Will you chip in $22 to help us fight for fair maps -- and fair elections -- in 2022?

We saw all three manipulation trends in Georgia, Ohio, and Texas -- eliminating competitive districts, gerrymandering at the expense of communities of color, and ignoring public input.
We need fair maps now and to hold those who approve unfair ones accountable. That’s why our team launched an end-of-year fundraising drive.

Hey John -- In a meeting earlier this week, our President Kelly Burton noted a trend in the ongoing threats against our democracy.
Here’s how map manipulators are doubling down on their 2011 approach and taking things a step further:
→ gerrymandering maps that eliminate competitive districts
→ suppressing voting power -- specifically in communities of color
→ ignoring public inputThe way we see it, all of these trends are a reaction to voters and activists like you getting involved.
Will you consider donating $22 to All On The Line as we gear up to combat threats against democracy in 2022? Here’s a link to our end-of-year donation drive:
