It's no secret that the far-right, including Antonio's opponent, is plotting to retake congressional seats next year. But as NY-19 remains a true “purple” district -- the
only swing seat in all of New York -- it's more apparent than ever that National Republicans are targeting Antonio's seat.
Here's a little history lesson for you: Election trends show that the President's party loses an average of 27 seats in the midterm elections. That means National Republicans are on track to take back the House in 2022, and they're counting on winning swing seats like Antonio's to take the majority. We need to start laying the groundwork
right now if we're going to change history for the better.
Antonio has proved time and again that he's a dedicated champion for working people -- one that works across the aisle to pass bipartisan legislation that helps all of our communities. He centers love and compassion in his work to ensure that he can deliver for Americans of all political stripes.
