John,
It's almost the end of the year. That means campaigns and political organizations are probably flooding your inbox with deceptive subject lines and manipulative tactics, like fake "QUADRUPLE MATCH" headlines and cries of "all hope is lost."
The truth is that both Republican and Democratic groups alike use email tactics like these to trick or scare people into donating. But we believe there's a better way.
Yesterday, we announced that thanks to a generous (real!) individual donor, WFP will be able to match online contributions up to $50,000 through the end of the year. We don't believe in fake matches or deceptive email fundraising, so you can be confident that this is a genuine way to double the impact of your contribution.
Can you contribute $3 towards our end-of-year fundraising goal? Our online fundraising goals are real, and not meeting them would have a real impact:

Deceitful online fundraising tactics may work for some organizations. But it doesn't fit into our vision for the future: a country where no working family ever has to worry about putting food on the table, the cost of prescription drugs, or whether or not their vote is going to count in an upcoming election.
And we believe in working towards that future by bringing working people together to pool their resources into a cause they believe in โ not tricking or scaring people into giving.
If this kind of multiracial working-class movement โ built on mutual respect and transparency โ is what you want to see more of in our political system, please contribute what you can to WFP today.
Contribute $3
In solidarity,
All of us at the Working Families Party
