Hi, John, allow me to introduce
myself — my name is Cade, and I’m one of the newest official staff members
of Team Morgan Harper! I’m Team Morgan’s new campaign manager! 👋
It’s really thanks to you, John,
that I’m here today. We depend on small-dollar donations from folks like
you to empower our scrappy, grassroots campaign and give us the ability to
expand our team, print materials, recruit volunteers, and literally fill
up our campaign vehicle to travel across the state and reach voters.
Now, here’s a little about me:
* I’ve worked on progressive campaigns across the country including here
in Ohio 📍
* I’m an alum of The Ohio State University 🥳 and I had the pleasure of
teaching students at OSU as a graduate student 👩🏫
* I’m so excited to be back in Ohio 🏡
* I first interacted with Morgan by volunteering with her back in the
day and got to see what an energetic and amazing candidate she is up
close and personal ✨
Now, a bit more about where our campaign is at:
We’re quickly approaching our most important fundraising deadline yet —
our final end-of-quarter FEC deadline of the year. Right now we’re still
only halfway towards our $50,000 email fundraising goal. No B.S., it’s
absolutely critical that we don’t fall behind.
2022 is election year and we’ll have to cut out critical organizing, voter
outreach, and volunteer recruitment efforts if our fundraising doesn’t
keep pace.
