2021 was a year of tragedy, visibility, and celebration for our fast-growing AAPI communities—and a defining moment for OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates. Faced with unprecedented challenges, we proved resilient thanks to the help of countless allies like you.

OCA makes its impact through our signature internship program and policy work—both of which are funded by hundreds of individual donors. Our goal is to raise $150,000 before January, which will go towards:

• Opportunities and programs that create a pipeline for future AAPI leaders.
• Protecting and advocating for our community on the state and federal levels.
• Creating resources that empower us to be more aware, confident, and passionate about our identities.

This year, we fought anti-Asian bullying and discrimination, launched a push for schools to teach our history, and ensured the most vulnerable received aid. Our summer internship program also continued to operate smoothly despite the pandemic—and we have big plans for 2022.
