Bees are dying, and we're at a crisis point.

Have 3x the impact on our courtroom fights to save pollinators before it's
too late.

Dear NRDC Activist,

An unrelenting torrent of toxic "neonic" pesticides — pushed by
agrochemical giants like Bayer — are causing bee populations to
drastically plummet. Just this past year, beekeepers lost a whopping 45%
of their honeybee colonies.

Their decline signals a terrifying ecological collapse and we will all
feel its impacts — from increased food scarcity to threats to our health —
if we don't take action before it's too late.

NRDC is fighting in court right now to protect critical pollinators like
the endangered rusty patched bumblebee, and we're battling in court
against EPA's decision to approve continued use of the toxic weed-killer,
glyphosate — but going up against the chemical industry means we're going
to need all the help we can get. [ [link removed] ]Can we count on your support with a
tax-deductible gift?

[ [link removed] ]Make your donation today to save bees, protect the future of our food
supply, and fight for our environment on all fronts and every dollar will
be TRIPLE matched, up to $400,000.Even just $5 can make a
big difference.

[ [link removed] ]SAVE BEES AND POLLINATORS. ALL GIFTS MATCHED 3X!

Fewer bees = less food. And as their numbers continue to dwindle, we face
a future where food prices skyrocket and access to healthy foods becomes
even harder, especially for low-income communities and communities of
color.

Alarmingly, there are already barely enough bees available to pollinate
key food crops every year. Scientists pin the blame primarily on neonics,
which are now the most heavily used class of insecticides in the United
States and applied to 150 million acres of crops each year.

[ [link removed] ]Your one donation today will make 3x the impact to protect our
environment on all fronts and help NRDC protect bees and other pollinators
by:

* Suing the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: NRDC filed an opening brief
in court just a few weeks ago to force the agency to protect the
endangered rusty patched bumblebee by designating "critical habitat"
for the species. With your help, we'll win this legal battle to force
the U.S. government to protect bees.
* Fighting in court to restrict the use of glyphosate: Your donation
will support NRDC's legal team as they battle in court to limit the
use of glyphosate, a toxic weed killer that is wiping out habitat of
Monarchs and other pollinators, poisoning farm workers, and weakening
bee populations by making them more susceptible to infection.
* Protecting bees and our health: NRDC is fighting in and out of court
to prevail on EPA to follow the science and ban all bee-killing uses
of neonics to protect these critical pollinators, our health, and our
food supply.
* Passing new state laws: With NRDC's support, New Jersey is on the cusp
of passing a new law that will significantly limit the use of neonics
— but we need your help to pass more neonic bans in other states if
we're going to have any chance of saving our bees.

The
web of life that sustains us is on the line — that's why saving bees and
pollinators is such a huge priority for NRDC in 2022.

But winning for bees means winning against giant agrochemical corporations
and their army of lobbyists. And we must have the critical resources
needed to win these fights — in and out of court.

[ [link removed] ]That's why your tax-deductible gift today makes such a difference:
Every dollar you give will be TRIPLED. That means your $5
gift will turn into $15! Please pitch in
NOW, before our December 31 deadline.

Protecting bees and other critical pollinators in the coming year will
take a combination of our legal firepower, rigorous science, and
hard-hitting advocacy. If we're going to make real progress, [ [link removed] ]then we're
going to need your help — today, before the 3x match offer expires.

I know with your support we can secure a healthier future for bees and
humanity.

Sincerely,

Dan Raichel
Acting Director, Pollinator Initiative, NRDC

P.S. [ [link removed] ]Remember, every donation to NRDC is 100% tax-deductible — and for
just a few more days, will be triple matched.

Donations will be used to save bees and other pollinators and for other
campaigns that allow NRDC to protect the environment in the most effective
way possible.
