RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. — On Monday, Rancho Santa Fe School Board Members Jee Manghani and Annette Ross endorsed Brian Maryott and released the following statement:
"The education system needs to put the children and their parents first," said Jee Manghani, President of the School Board, "As a parent and elected education official, I see that the California Education system needs to produce better results for the children. We need people like Brian Maryott in Congress to represent our concerns and to work for a better future."
Annette Ross, Vice President of the Board, stated in her endorsement, "Brian has continuously advocated for parental rights, especially in the midst of so much government overreach. Now more than ever, we need choice in education. I am proud to endorse Brian because I know that he will bring this fight to Washington."
Brian Maryott responded, "As a parent, Annette and Jee's support means a great deal. They are in the trenches every day fighting for our children and their future. I am honored to receive their endorsement and grateful for their service to our community."
Brian is committed to e
ducating and empowering young people by advocating for competitive, world class public, charter, and private schools – and by addressing the skyrocketing prices for higher education, and the limited options for college savings programs, and college loans.
Jee Manghani has been in the software and technology field since 1996, after graduating UCSD with a Computer Science degree. He currently runs a software business, focusing both on products and services. He has also been a General Partner for a Value Investing Group since 2003. Jee and his wife have lived in Rancho Santa Fe for over ten years with their two children.
Annette Ross was elected to the Board in 2020 for a 4-year term. She previously worked full time as a professional for Morgan Stanley at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. After that, she served as a Refco Currency Trader in Bermuda. Annette, her husband, Bill, and their five daughters moved into the Ranch four years ago.
