I'm going to be honest with you, I'm gearing up for the fight of my life – and I need your help.

Our FIRST public filing deadline of the campaign is coming up and fast. Everyone is going to be watching our numbers, and judging the strength of our campaign.

So my team and I came together to see what we need to do to make sure everyone watching knows we mean business.

We've set an end of year goal of 7,000 contributions, and we need your help to reach it. Can you contribute $7 or whatever you can to build on our momentum and stay ahead of the pack in a crowded primary? [[link removed]]

I grew up the child of immigrants, who fled a brutal dictator in the Dominican Republic. It's not lost on me that my life could've turned out differently had I not arrived in the US where I was given the chance to succeed – it’s a huge part of why I'm running for governor.

I refuse to accept that some of our public schools are the best in the nation – but others struggle to provide for kids' basic needs.

I can't stand by as Marylanders get boxed out of opportunities and too many of our kids live in poverty.

I will not accept that opportunity is only available to certain Marylanders to succeed and create wealth to leave behind for the next generation.

The problems we're facing are fixable, but solving them requires an experienced leader who knows how to develop a plan, bring people together, listen, and get stuff done. I came up in the School of Get Stuff Done, where you're not doing your job if you don’t deliver for your community. I've delivered my entire career, and I'll continue that work as Maryland's Governor.

Will you pitch in and help us hit our end-of-year goal of 7,000 contributions? Our first public filing will be here in a matter of days, and we need to make sure we can take our momentum into the new year. Hitting our December fundraising goal is a critical part of that.
