John, Brady asked me to reach out to you because we have some incredible news: To kick off Brady's huge end-of-year push, a fired-up group of donors will be MATCHING all donations up to their $100,000 goal!

This is the most important fundraising deadline of the entire year and Brady's last chance to raise what they need to do life-saving work in 2022. With every dollar being doubled, there's never been a more impactful time to give — and I'm sharing this with you first because Brady tells me you're one of their top supporters. So please, can we count on you when it matters most? Be one of the FIRST to have your end-of-year gift MATCHED to help Brady prevent gun violence and save lives in 2022!

I’m coming to you as a gun violence survivor, John. When I was young, my family’s lives were changed forever when my father was shot and killed outside his office. I’ve dealt with the aftermath of it ever since — but it’s also why I fight, so that other people won’t have to deal with the same. No one is safe from this senseless epidemic, so we have to come together and fight against it, harder than ever.

Heinous violence has become a common occurrence in our country: We stood witness to mass shootings and unintentional shootings, and more murders didn’t break headlines. The inability of our representatives in government to do anything about gun violence has left a mark on this country — a deadly mark. I will never forget how they've refused to lift a single finger while tens of thousands of people die because of gun violence every year.

But finally, the tide is turning, and Brady is leading the charge. Brady is working to expand Brady Background Checks and ban assault weapons at a national level. And these measures are statistically proven to save lives. They’re passing laws in states across the country to stop the proliferation of ghost guns. Brady is doing the work and it’s never been more important to support them — we need you, John, now more than ever.

This is about all of us — so your support is critical. But Brady is falling behind their $100,000 end-of-year goal — the biggest of the entire year, so we're counting on you to chip in and power the work we need to do in 2022.

That's why I'm personally asking: Will you give $5 or more to Brady now and help them hit their critical end-of-year goal so we can pass common-sense, life-saving gun safety policies, defeat the NRA once and for all, and save lives? Every dollar will be DOUBLED to make the change we need — but it has to be NOW.

We can make progress and save lives but not without your urgent support, John. Thank you for stepping up.
