Hello,
I’ll get right to it: I’m emailing to ask you to help me defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue by giving $5 right now to my campaign.
At midnight on December 31st, we’re facing our very first end-of-quarter FEC deadline. You’ve probably heard about these deadlines before – and for good reason.
After December 31st, my campaign is required by federal law to publicly report our fundraising totals. Everyone will be scouring our report. Reporters will write about how much we’ve raised. Advocacy groups will take notice. Chuck Grassley will see the strength of the people-powered campaign we’ve been building. And Mitch McConnell and his Super PACs will be watching, ready to pounce at any sign of weakness.
This deadline isn’t just about meeting the goals we need to hit to fund our campaign operations. It’ll show the world whether or not Democrats are prepared to defend our Senate majority – and our very democracy.
The polls show my race could be one of the closest in the country. But we still need to raise another $25,166 to hit our $100,000 goal, and I’m counting on grassroots donors like you to give now if we’re going to take on the Super PACs and win:
Please, will you rush $5 or more right now – whatever you can spare before our first FEC deadline on December 31st – to help me defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue, and protect our Democratic Senate majority? [[link removed]]
