It’s Election Day and the polls are open! And today there are a whole lot of state and municipal elections relying on your participation. So, in that spirit, we have a few very quick, very crucial action-items for you to do on this important day:

1. First and foremost, find out which elections are on the ballot in your area and check your voter registration (some states even have same-day registration).

2. Find your nearest polling place and come up with a plan to vote. And when you’re done, make sure your friends, peers, and family are going to vote too.

3. Check out our list of 2019 endorsements, and be sure to support these great progressives if they’re running near you! We’ve endorsed more than 1,000 incredible candidates that are on ballots today nationwide, and they need your help!

4. If you’ve already done all of the above, then you’re in great shape. Our fourth and final request of you today is to help ensure that we can support another slate of working class champions in 2020 by chipping in $3 to the Working Families Party today. Your donation fuels what we do, and we’re so grateful for anything you can afford to give.

There are so many pivotal elections happening today. They may not have the star power as the presidential horse race, or the hundred-million-dollar Senate showdowns, but believe us: THEY ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT.

The candidates we’ve endorsed will become district attorneys, city council members, school board directors, and supreme court members. They’ll be in charge of deciding policies that affect millions of fellow workers in cities and towns around the country. And oftentimes, these races are decided by just a handful of votes.

Your vote matters so much, and can bring about so much good. So make sure you’re registered. Make sure you have a plan to vote. And get as many people you know out to the polls too.
