Are you interested in being a leader at KCYD? Think we could be doing something differently and better? Nominate yourself to be a candidate!

The deadline for nominating yourself and submitting the form is Tuesday, December 28, at 11:59pm.
|
|
|
Afterwards, members will have one week to vote on candidates and submit their ballot. The ballot is due Tuesday, January 4, at 11:59 pm.

|
Which roles are available?
|
|
|
Chair
The person setting the vision for the organization and holding everyone accountable to their commitments.
|
|
Vice Chair
Supports the Chair. Someone who could probably be Chair, and helps fill in the gaps to get things done.
|
|
|
Treasurer
Main requirements for this role involve managing our membership list and creating a budget.
|
|
Communications Director
This person runs our social media and is the main person responsible for sending out our emailings.
|
|
|
Legislative Director
Determines and directs our policy priorities, usually identifying bills and organizing a lobby day.
|
|
Political Director
The biggest responsibility for this role is organizing our endorsements, but they take a large role in handling our electoral work in general.
|
|
|
Events Director
This person plays a large part in making sure our debates, meetings, and get-togethers happen!
|
|
Social Action Director
If KCYD were to participate in mutual aid, marches, and protests, this role would be the point person.
|
|
|
At-Large Directors
At-large directors make sure we have the resources and connections we need in East King County, South King County, and Seattle.
|
|
KCDCC Representatives
KCYD is part of the King County Democrats Central Committee, and has representatives that are given the right to vote on KCYD's behalf.
