If you celebrated Christmas, I hope you had a nice time with family and friends. We sure did in the Smith Household!

It's back to work before our biggest fundraising deadline of the year Friday. Here are some quick updates on where things stand. It's important to me that you're in the loop:

• I'm running against far-right Governor Kim Reynolds. Morning Consult ranked America's 9th least popular governor.

• Earlier this year, she reported over a million dollars. She's taking checks from corporate executives to the tune of tens of thousands.

• When push comes to shove, she'll side with corporate and special interests over working Iowans. She refused to intervene on behalf of striking workers at John Deere.

• Friday marks the end of the year, which is also our biggest fundraising deadline yet. I need to put up the biggest number possible in order to show everyone that we have what it takes to defeat Kim Reynolds. That's why I'm asking:

Will you please chip in $3 or whatever you can before 11:59 pm tonight? How much we raise, and from whom becomes public early in the new year for all to see. The political press and pundits use it to assess the viability of our campaign and I need to know you're with me.
