After working together to support Democrats on the ballot in 2020, flipping the Senate and sending President Biden to the White House, I told you that soon my name would be on the ballot.

Well, 2022 is almost here.

I love my job. I love Hawaii. And I’m proud of the work I’ve been able to do in the Senate this year to deliver help to those who really need it -- in Hawaii and across the country.

I want to keep doing this job. I want to keep fighting for climate action and affordable education, health care, and housing.

But I can’t do it without you.

The first midterms of a new White House Administration are historically difficult for the president’s party. This time, that’s us. We need to be ready and we need to be unified and work together as a team -- just like we did in 2020.

I’m not a fan of sending these types of emails asking for contributions, but they’re essential for bringing in financial resources that are necessary for building a winning campaign.
