Friend, I was on the air with Rachel Maddow the other night, and I need to share this important message.

Right now, our democracy is under attack -- extreme politicians are seeking to systematically undermine our election system in a dangerous attempt to stay in power. Without free and fair elections, the United States of America as we know it would not exist.

That is why I am calling on my colleagues to change the Senate rules to allow a majority vote to pass laws that will protect American democracy.

With so much at stake, we cannot afford to lose the Senate. Our democracy is at risk -- if Mitch McConnell succeeds in flipping the Senate, far-right Republicans could strip away the right to vote, undermine our elections, and dismantle the fundamental framework of our country.

If we lose here in New Hampshire, we could lose our fragile Senate majority. I'm no stranger to tough fights, but the GOP has deep pockets and nearly endless resources. Republican megadonors and dark money super PACs have already spent $7 million attacking me: more than they've spent against any other Democratic incumbent.

That's why we set an emergency goal of $10,000. With all eyes on New Hampshire, we cannot afford to fall short in this critical moment. Can I count on you to chip in $10 before it's too late?
