Dear John,
This is just a quick note to make certain you saw my email below. I sent it a few days ago and I wanted to make sure you knew about this special opportunity to make a gift that can go 3X as far in the fight to end Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer's disease is the nation's largest under-recognized public health crisis. It affects millions of people — those who experience it directly as well as their caregivers, families and loved ones. By giving today, you will help us further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Thank you for responding.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer

Dear John,
It's the season of giving, and I know you'll be looking for opportunities to make a difference. So I wanted to share a very special opportunity to make a gift that can go 3X as far in the fight to end Alzheimer's and help millions of people.
A generous donor who shares your commitment in the fight to end Alzheimer's and wishes to remain anonymous has just pledged $200,000 and offered this incredible triple match challenge. Their gift will support the Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP), a funding initiative to accelerate drug development breakthroughs that could help mitigate the toxic effects of tau protein "tangles" in the brain. Because tau tangles are implicated in a number of neurodegenerative disorders, the research made possible by T-PEP could potentially benefit individuals living with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, frontotemporal dementia and more.
Your year-end donation can be triple matched, but only until December 31 — up to a total of $200,000 — for 3X the impact to provide more Alzheimer's care and support and advance critical research.
At the Alzheimer's Association, we have a mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Accomplishing these crucial goals depends on the support we receive from caring friends and partners like you.
That's why I want to thank you for taking such a strong interest in our work.
I know it's a busy time of year — a season of reflection, celebration, friends and family. But it's also a time for focusing on what is most important in life and the future we want for everyone — a future free from Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
John, I hope you'll consider this very special year-end opportunity to be a moment when you can make a powerful and impactful gift to something that is meaningful to you and so many others.
Please don't miss this chance to triple your impact. |

So much is at stake. More than 6 million people are living with Alzheimer's today, and more are diagnosed every day. Without a cure, many lives are at risk.
The financial well-being of our nation's more than 11 million caregivers is also at stake. As the person living with dementia's symptoms worsen, caregivers can experience depleted income and finances. Considering costs attributed to caring for those living with Alzheimer's are projected to rise to $1.1 trillion by 2050, it's even more urgent that we make investments now that can increase hope.
Only by working together, and by each of us giving all we can, can we make a future without Alzheimer's possible.
That's a better future for you and me, for people living with Alzheimer's, for Alzheimer's caregivers and for us all. Please contribute now to help us achieve this goal with your year-end gift while it can go three times as far.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. I hope you're looking forward to a happy and healthy year-end celebration, and connecting with those you love. Thank you for supporting our work. Please make your year-end gift, which can achieve 3X the impact, now.
