Today is a joyous day! While we gather with our family and friends to celebrate the warmth of this holiday season, I pray that we will also keep the reason for the season close to our hearts.

Christmas gives us the opportunity to reflect on the year behind us and to hope for the year ahead. I am thankful for the opportunity to play a role in the efforts to rebuild our country, and I am encouraged about what we will accomplish together next year.

My faith is dearly important to me, and I am blessed to live in a country where I can openly share and celebrate that faith with others. My Christmas wish for you is the gift of faith and courage as we turn the page on this year.
