Congresswoman Tenney's Weekly Newsletter Have questions? Contact Me Here Merry Christmas from Team Tenney I hope you and your loved ones have a very Merry Christmas today. While we gather with friends and family for the holiday season, may we reflect on the true reason we celebrate Christmas and all of life's many blessings. The past two years have posed unprecedented challenges. Our country has been tested in countless ways and we continue to face many obstacles. Yet Christmas is an opportunity for us to come together and reflect on the timeless teachings of the season; lessons rooted in service, selflessness, compassion, giving, and forgiveness. These values provide us with hope and inspiration for the future. May you and your family find comfort, joy, and peace today. As we gather with our families this Christmas, let us also remember those who cannot. From the brave frontline workers and first responders to the courageous men and women of the Armed Forces serving at home and abroad, thank you! From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! A Holiday Tradition: Wreaths Across America It was my honor to join the Vietnam Veterans of America as well as the Military Order of the Purple Heart this past weekend to participate in Wreaths Across America. This is such a special holiday tradition, which is so deeply cherished by Americans across the United States and right here in upstate New York. May we always remember the fallen and honor their sacrifice. It is also a reminder that the 22nd Congressional District is a community committed to celebrating service and home to generations of brave and honorable veterans. ICYMI: Christmas Ornaments from NY22 This holiday season I was so honored to kick off a new Christmas tradition by decorating my Washington, DC office with handmade Christmas ornaments from the Grade Five Art Club at Clinton Central Elementary School in Clinton. It was great to bring a little bit of our community to Congress this Christmas season. We have some truly talented students in our region! I look forward to continuing this tradition in the future. Have news or updates to share? Email me! If you have updates regarding events in the community or other news to share from across New York's 22nd District, please visit the "Contact Me" page on my website to share it with me. My team will try to include as many of your updates from around #NY22 as we can each week. ‌ ‌ ‌ Rep.
