Merry Christmas!
I'd like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
There are many reasons to celebrate this time of year and reflect on the many blessings in our lives. It is also a time we get to spend with our families at home. But for people like me who have young kids, you get to see the spirit of Christmas in their eyes when they're coming down the stairs, looking at the tree, seeing the presents, and opening up gifts. That's what makes Christmas special.
It's also important to keep in mind those who can't be with their loved ones this time of year, especially our men and women in uniform. Say an extra prayer for them.
I am incredibly grateful for the privilege of representing the people of Louisiana. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!
