Dear John,

For a second year running, our Christmas celebrations have a slightly muted feel, but at least unlike last year (for many), we are able to celebrate with some of our loved ones.

We do not know what the new year may bring, in terms of new restrictions or mandates, but whatever happens, we must not let circumstances detract from our joy.

The most important thing is to remember that God became flesh and gave us Hope.

He did it in silence, without fireworks, in the humility of a cave in Bethlehem. But that simplicity does not display the greatness of a God made man who brought us Redemption.

The birth of Christ is a watershed in history. Because the Resurrection of Christ brought us all the Hope of eternal life, without pain and suffering, without mistrust, without covid, without diseases, without fraternal divisions, without restrictions or quarantines. Only the happiness of knowing that we are infinitely loved by God for eternity ...

That is what we celebrate at Christmas. Lights, parties, and gatherings help, but the most important celebration is of our hearts. And that is not going to be stolen by coronavirus.

Merry Christmas!!!

For everyone, Christmas is a sign of joy and hope, a moment for peace and love.

For believers and people of good will, it is the most powerful call to action to participate in the miracle of redemption and love.

For me and everyone at CitizenGO, it's also time to thank you for everything you do and wish you the best of the best.

So... in the midst of difficulties, challenges and struggles, and of our own personal failings, with your help, I promise you, we will continue to work every moment, day by day and year by year, to contain the damage, defeat hate with hope, and begin the process of swinging the society's pendulum back toward sanity, decency, and the kind of future that we must never give up on.

Christmas is a feast of peace and joy for everyone. A new start, a time for hope.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you a Merry Christmas (and a blessed and happy New Year) full of light, joy, happiness, and love for you, for your family, and for everyone you love and care for.

Thank you very, very much, for being there!

God bless,

Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO Team
