We’re grateful to be spending time with family, sharing stories and laughter, eating great food, and giving thanks.
My grandmother, Mimi, always made the holidays special. Her pound cake is one of our family’s favorite recipes, and we’d like to share it with you!
Mimi’s Pound Cake
3 cups of sugar
3 sticks of butter
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
Vanilla extract
6 eggs
3 cups of Swan’s Down Cake Flour
Mix to cream the butter and sugar. Next, add your vanilla extract.
Add the cream cheese, and then alternate adding flour and eggs. Continue to mix until fully combined.
Grease the Bundt pan, and bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.
Insert a toothpick into the cake; if it comes out clean, your cake is ready.
