Season’s Greetings from our family to yours — and sending best wishes for a happy and healthy 2022.
The twins are now...teenagers! Jack continued his quest to scale the 100 highest peaks in Washington. He’s at 8 and counting. Mt. St. Helens was a highlight for us this summer along with Osceola Peak near the Canadian border. Jack is a strong hiker and climber and is setting his sights on some of Washington’s big mountains next year. We will see if Bob can keep up.
Bob has become a true Softball Dad now that Katie is on a fastpitch select team. It’s a great group of young women and we are enjoying spending time at tournaments with the families of her new teammates. Katie works hard at her pitching, and Bob does his best to catch the increasing repertoire (and speed!) of her pitches. While driving to games, Bob makes her listen to the “Rocky” theme song to get pumped up. Katie, being a good daughter, indulges this.
Colleen is back at Shoreline Community College. Her big trip this year was a yoga and hiking retreat in Utah with a good friend. Meanwhile, Bob and his college buddies picked a bad year to travel for road Seahawk and Husky football games. Next year!
The most exciting development for the Fergusons in 2021 is the addition of a new family member— Peter. Check out the photo below to see just how adorable he is.
Holiday Greetings from our family to you!
Bob, Colleen, Jack, Katie ... and Peter!
P.S. Our holiday card photo was taken at Thanksgiving with Bob’s mom, Betty Ferguson, who turned 93 this year.
