The holiday season is a time to take joy in our shared humanity, to show appreciation for the people in our lives, and to reflect upon what is most important to us.

While I know that this has been a difficult year for many of us, and that many remain unable to properly celebrate the holidays with their loved ones, the spirit of this season still resonates as we reflect on all the ways that we have come together and given to help each other during these uniquely challenging times.

Our generosity, determination, and resilience during this year of progress (in spite of the many challenges we still face) are proof of just how strong we are when we come together.

I continue to be inspired by all of you who have worked to help those in need, fought for your values, and found big and small ways to bring love and laughs to those in your lives. You are why I have hope for the year ahead.
