Africa & Europe
Pray for trafficking survivors served by IJM in Romania as they move through the pain and trauma of their experiences toward restoration. Pray as well for the IJM staff who are supporting them to be able to serve them well, especially through the long and difficult process of seeking justice in court.
Latin America
In this time away from work, please pray for leaders and team members to rest deeply and find space to process the last year. It has been a hard year for all, and many of our staff carried both the weight of difficulty in their personal lives as well as the complications the pandemic brought to their work in court systems and to the lives of the survivors with whom they engage regularly. Pray for God’s joy in this season of celebration and rest.
South Asia
Please pray for rest and rejuvenation for our staff in South Asia as they close out the year. This has been an incredibly challenging year in South Asia with the ongoing pandemic, and many staff are still grieving friends and family who passed away. Pray for God’s comfort and joy over them as they move into the holiday season and leave the heaviness of work behind.
Southeast Asia
Please pray for our staff and clients as they spend Christmas with their loved ones and close out the year. As our staff reflects on all this year held, pray for joy, comfort and rest. We can praise God for Christmas celebrations happening for our clients at shelters in the Philippines. Please pray that they feel loved and for peace as this might be their first Christmas away from home.
