John,
Cindy and I want to thank you for your continued support throughout this year and send our warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas season. It's been a great year, and we're looking forward to everything we can accomplish with your support in the New Year.
This year, I joined the Ways & Means Committee, the chief tax-writing committee in the House of Representatives exercising jurisdiction over tariffs, reciprocal trade agreements, U.S. bonded debt, social security, Medicare, and social services programs. This is one of the most coveted committee assignments, and it's been a privilege to represent the 11th Congressional District's strong conservative values in these conversations.
In my role as a Vice Chair at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), we welcomed Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy to Lancaster County and raised over $800,000 in support of efforts to take back the Republican majority in 2022. Take a look at some of those highlights below.
May you be blessed with good health, prosperity, and happiness in the New Year.
All our best,
Lloyd and Cindy Smucker
I want to know what issues are important to you for 2022. Can you take this short survey to let me know what you think? ([link removed])
Leader Kevin McCarthy in Lancaster County.
As a Vice Chair of the NRCC, I have been working to raise the funds necessary to support Republicans across the country to keep and flip seats to retake the Republican majority. We are only 5 seats away from the majority.
In November, Leader Kevin McCarthy joined us in Lancaster County, where we raised more than $800,000 to support this effort.
We had a great year at the ballot box, electing Republicans up and down the slate to represent our values on the PA Supreme Court, Superior Court, Commonwealth Court, Court of Common Pleas, in County Row Offices, Municipal offices and School Boards. It was great to join many of these candidates on the campaign trail this year.

ABC27 Interview: ([link removed]) “You do a massive expansion of the federal government. You incentivize reliance on the government. Rather than incentivizing getting back to work and then you create this class warfare, that talks about raising the taxes only on the rich,” Smucker said. “Only on those making over 400,000. There’s no possible way they can fund what they’re doing with just taxes on the rich, so everybody’s gonna pay for this. Everybody.”
