John, Over the next few days, our team won’t be sending any emails so that we can spend time off with our families and your email inbox can have a break. It may be goodbye for the next few days, but rest assured we’re getting ready to hit the ground running after the holiday break. Over the next few months, we’ll be knocking on thousands of doors and having thousands of conversations with folks across Illinois’ Eighth. We’re going to be building even more grassroots power on top of all the work we’ve done in the past year. It’s exciting, John, but we’re also going to need the resources for our staff and volunteers to get the job done. We have the grassroots energy of an unbreakable movement — one that corporations and special interests can’t undo by dumping thousands in ads and mailers at the last second. But we need the resources to keep up with where we need to be. In Solidarity, Team Junaid Junaid is a father, husband, community organizer, and longtime Illinoisan running a 100% grassroots campaign to represent Illinois’ 8th District in Congress. He’s fighting to put power back in our hands, end corporate influence in Washington, and pass bold solutions like Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and tuition-free public college. |
