December 23, 2021
Dear John,
This time of year is filled with presents and parties, carols and cookies, and friends and family. But more than anything, Christmas is a time to slow down and ponder the miracle of Jesus Christ's birth as that little baby in Bethlehem.
Tony wanted to personally wish you a Merry Christmas and share a short message with you about this wonderful time of year.

What a marvelous truth that into our fallen, dark world came the everlasting Light! All so that He could become our perfect sacrifice, delivering us from the curse of sin and welcoming us into His family and Kingdom.
As we approach the end of the year, the entire Family Research Council team is also grateful for you.
Your faithful gifts of support and prayer enabled us to accomplish so much in the midst of difficult circumstances in 2021. It is our honor to partner with you, John, as we advance the Gospel and kingdom principles in our nation.
While we pray for even greater victories in the months to come, may we anchor our hope and hearts in the promises recorded in Isaiah 9, verses 6-7:
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this."
Praise God that He is faithful to accomplish all that He has planned and purposed for our lives, our families, our nation, and our world.
From FRC's family to yours -- Merry Christmas!
Blessings,
Scott Hurley Vice President for Development
