Right now, Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) members at Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA’s) Cinder Bed Road facility are on strike. These contract workers wear the same uniforms, drive the same buses and do the same work as direct WMATA employees—but they’re paid much less. 

Tomorrow, they’re holding a solidarity rally to show their strength. Will you join them outside WMATA’s headquarters in downtown D.C.?

These courageous workers have been striking for nearly three weeks—the first Metrobus strike in 41 years. They’re fighting for fair pay and equal treatment, plain and simple.

Now, they need our help to tell WMATA: lower pay is not OK. Join the rally on Wednesday at noon!
