A March For Our Lives Holiday Story
‘Twas the season of justice and outside the Court,
The March For Our Lives team was building support
For critical issues that others forgot.
See, a lot was at stake: The right not to be shot.
But the cynical grinch, of course, had other plans.
(You know what they say about idle hands…)
"I know just what to do!" the grinch said of his ploy,
“If I foil their march, it’ll shatter their joy.”
So he stuffed all their signs and bullhorns in his sack,
Chopped their podium in two with a vigorous whack,
Then he slithered and slunk, with a devilish smile,
Back to hide in his pad where he waited awhile.
But soon he heard chanting. What’s this hubbub about?
“We call BS!” they cried, with an impassioned shout.
And then with dismay, he crumpled in defeat.
Their passion for justice wasn’t one he could beat.
Now I know you are tired, so let’s skip ahead,
