See, Republicans are doing everything they can to hang on to power – whether they've earned it or not. 150 experts on democratic breakdowns signed an open letter saying that "our entire democracy is now at risk" due to Republican gerrymandering, voter suppression, and attempts to take over election processes.
So you have a choice right now. You can commit to doing something about it (you've already taken the first step by reading this email!). You can make a donation to help the NDRC fight gerrymandering and voter suppression heading into 2022.
Or you can ignore the situation and do nothing while Republicans work to draw themselves into unearned majorities, leading them to flip the House of Representatives in 2022 and setting up a crisis of democracy in the 2024 election. (Please don’t do this.)
