To my kids Luke, Paul, and Betsy, I’m still just Mom -- and putting on a goofy costume on Halloween comes with the territory.

So I did what any super-working mom does and donned my Batgirl costume. 

And if the NRCC wants to troll me for doing what parents do to create fun and happy memories, I will gladly wear the cape.
