There’s been more than 149 incidents of gunfire on school grounds this year, including 32 deaths and 94 injuries. The deadliest of these incidents occurred in Oxford, Michigan, where a 15-year-old fired 30 rounds at his high school, killing four students and wounding seven others.

A few days later, GOP Reps. Thomas Massie and Lauren Boebert decided it was a good idea to post Christmas cards with their children all carrying guns. Republicans used to carry an ounce of sensitivity when national tragedies occured, but that’s gone out the window with Trump loyalists filling the ranks of the congressional GOP.
