Hi Friend,

Ever thought of running for office? Or know someone who has?

The East Bay Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America is seeking to support dedicated socialists who want to fight for a more just and equitable future for the Bay Area.

With a mobilized membership of more than 2,000 socialists and a strong volunteer base, we are eager to hear about candidates who are prepared to run as democratic socialists in the 2022 elections in the East Bay. We also want to hear from activists and organizers living in the East Bay who may not be ready to run this year but are interested in running in the future. You can learn more about us, our issues, and our work on our website, eastbaydsa.org.

If you or anyone you know is:

1) interested (even nominally!) in running for public office as a democratic socialist and

2) lives in the East Bay (Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, or Napa County),

We want to know! Fill out this form and we'll be in touch to talk more. <[link removed]>

East Bay DSA has a democratic process for endorsing candidates for office. Filling out this form just lets us know you're interested. Once we hear from you we'll be in touch to talk more and explain East Bay DSA’s endorsement process.

If you’d like to organize with the Electoral Committee for socialist candidates and campaigns in the 2022 election cycle, join our monthly Electoral Committee Meeting on Monday, January 10th, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the UAW 2865 offices in Berkeley <[link removed]>.

Let’s fight for an East Bay that puts people over profit!

Solidarity,

East Bay DSA Electoral Committee
