It is our right as parents, grandparents, and taxpayers to speak up, ask questions, and demand that schools put students FIRST.
Hi Friend,
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of joining Independent Women’s Voice at their “Government Is Not a Co-Parent” Rally.
It felt good to come together with so many civic-minded individuals, concerned parents, educators, and colleagues under the banner, “The Government Is NOT a Co-Parent,” and the rallying cry, “Stop Indoctrinating Our Kids.”

I, like so many of you, am deeply concerned about the state of public education in America right now.
Right now, children in government-run schools are not taught the skill of HOW to think, but rather WHAT to think. And it must END. ([link removed])
It is our right as parents, grandparents, and taxpayers to speak up, ask questions, and demand that schools put students FIRST.
We not only need to be a part of the conversation, but we also need to be a part of the solution.

I am proud of the parents who have stepped forward to fight for their children and against bad policy. And I am grateful to IWV for leading this effort. But we are coming up against even more challenges in 2022.
IWV has an important end-of-year deadline coming up, and they could really use your donation to help them keep these efforts going,
friend.

It’s critical that they reach their goal of raising $50,000 by December 31 at midnight so they have the resources necessary to push out more policy initiatives, educational and engagement events (like the rally), and fact checks.
I hope you can give before the year ends, as we have a lot to do to protect parents’ rights and defend children’s educational opportunities in 2022. ([link removed])
Thank you and happy holidays,
Congresswoman Carol Miller (WV-3)
