Yesterday, the Biden Administration heeded our calls and extended the
pause on federal student loan payments until at least May 1, 2022!

Extending the pause is an important victory, and will help millions of
families make ends meet in the midst of an ongoing pandemic and
pandemic-induced economic crisis.

Now, President Biden must take the next step and permanently cancel at
least $50,000 in federal student loan debt for every borrower.

and good for the economy. If you’re able, will you chip in

cancel student debt if elected. And since day one of his presidency,
Ayanna and our movement have kept up the pressure on him and his
administration to make good on that promise. And we’re being
heard.

This extension is great news — but we can’t stop here. If President Biden
has the power to pause student loan payments, he also has the power to
cancel them for good.
